Naming ceremonies

A naming ceremony can be a special way to celebrate the birth of your child, welcome an adoptive child or embrace stepchildren into your family.  Naming ceremonies provide a formal opportunity to make promises of commitment to your child in front of your friends and family. The ceremonies are not just for babies; children of any age can have a ceremony and you may wish to include your other children as well as your new child.

If you are a parent or legal guardian then you can arrange a naming ceremony for your child. There is a wide range of choices available for the type of ceremony that you hold. We can assist you to create a unique event that you and your guests will always remember.

A celebrant will conduct your ceremony but the ceremonies have no legal standing and are not legally binding on those who participate.  The ceremonies must not have any religious content.
