The value of apprentices goes further than offering greater efficiency. Below are responses given by employers about the key benefits of apprenticeships:

 

  • 80% of employers agree their apprentices make the workplace more productive
  • 81% of consumers favour using a company which takes on apprentices
  • 88% of employers who have an apprentice believe they lead to a more motivated and satisfied workforce
  • 83% of employers offering apprenticeships rely on their apprentice programme to provide skilled workers for the future
  • one in five employers are hiring more apprentices to help them through the tough economic climate
