The Essex Business Directory

The Essex Business Directory is a database of over 10,000 businesses within Essex as well as a guide to the county's key assets and the support services offered by Essex County Council and other agencies. The business directory database is in software form and is free to businesses in Essex, distributed upon request.

Essex Libraries provide a range of support and information services for businesses within Essex. Whether you are thinking of starting a business or growing your business, the library’s Business Information Service (BIS) can help, with a range of free factsheets and information. BIS can also provide services for a small charge, such as tailored mailing lists and a Tenders Alerting service.
