Essex Health and Wellbeing Board

The Health and Social Care Act requires Essex County Council to establish a local Health and Wellbeing Board, a forum for leaders from the health and care system in Essex to work together to improve the health and wellbeing of residents.


Essex Health and Wellbeing strategy 

The Health and Wellbeing Board has produced a strategy, which sets out how the partners will work together to improve health and wellbeing in Essex from 2013-2018. This strategy is developed from the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment.
