The Achievement Service for Children in Care works with other professionals to make sure all Essex children looked after have an up to date Personal Education Plan (PEP) that is meaningful and of high quality. At least 25% of all PEPs are audited for quality and appropriate feedback is given to the relevant professionals.
From June 2011 completed PEPs are available to schools via CLA Tracker, ensuring that if a child moves school the information is immediately available.
