In Essex we have a fantastic range of expertise invested in our advanced skills teachers (ASTs). They practise in all phases and cover a range of teaching and learning aspects from subject matters to whole school issues.
Some experienced ASTs are making a huge difference to schools facing, as well as developing, national agendas with the Innovation Unit, the Department for Children, Schools and Families AST team and other national bodies.
