Although a considerable amount of the public sector procurement within the Essex County Council area is carried out through the ECC Supplier Portal, there are other procurement portals that manage much of the procurement at borough, district and unitary council level. In order to access all of the public sector procurement opportunities available to them, Essex County Council recommend that potential suppliers also register at the following portals:

 

This portal manages procurement opportunities on behalf of the majority of district, borough and unitary authorities within the Essex area. Free of charge self-registration provides access to the national supplier database and email notification of suitable contract notices.

 

Southend Borough Council has its own E-Tendering portal. Registration is free, and registered suppliers are alerted via email of future tendering opportunities at Southend Borough Council.
