The business incubator approach

The aim of the business incubator model is to identify and support those service areas with potential for commercialisation. These service area teams are then trained and supported in a range of business areas such as sales and marketing, brand development, people management, HR and culture, pricing and financial management. 


With a strong plan in place, each service area can drive its business forward to operate more competitively, market its services and generate new income, trading with other councils and authorities around the country and on the open market if appropriate.
