6 April 2011

If your child is already at primary school and you wish to transfer him/her to a different primary school, you should complete the Mid-Year Primary School Application Form.

If your child is already at secondary school and you wish to transfer him/her to a different secondary school, you should complete the Mid-Year Secondary School Application Form.

If you live in Essex and wish to apply for a school outside Essex please see the information on determined admission arrangements.

If you live outside Essex and wish to apply for a school in Essex you need to complete the form from the local authority (LA) in which you live. Your LA will then contact Essex to see if a place is available at the school(s) you request.

Please remember, moving schools is a serious step to take.  You should not remove your child from his/her current school before you have an offer of another school place.
