Invitation to Submit Proposals to Sponsor an All-Through Free School Provision in New Buildings at Greater Beaulieu Park, Chelmsford

Essex County Council (ECC) is inviting applications to sponsor a new all-through school to serve the housing development at Greater Beaulieu Park in Springfield.

This would deliver 420 primary school places (2 forms of entry (fe)) and 1,200 secondary school places (8fe), once operating at full capacity. In addition, ECC are also inviting applications to deliver high quality early years and childcare provision within a 56 place stand-alone facility within the site.

The all-through provision will open in September 2018 for the primary phase of education and September 2019 for the secondary.  Once operating at full capacity it will deliver 420 primary school places and 1,200 secondary school places.

Fuller details may be found in the invitation to submit a proposal.

Application

Potential sponsors should first register their interest with the County Council by emailing school.organisation@essex.gov.uk at the earliest opportunity, and then complete the application form (below) and submit it, together with their full proposal, to that same email address by close on 3 July 2017.

The full proposal should provide additional materials and information, to demonstrate comprehensively how the proposal meets the application criteria and DfE requirements.

Organisations that are also interested in delivering the Early Years and Childcare provision should email: ey.capitalgrants@essex.gov.uk to express their interest and a separate application form and criteria will be forwarded.
