Tany’s Dell Community Primary School, Harlow
Essex County Council has published a Statutory Notice to make a prescribed alteration to Tany’s Dell Community Primary School. The proposal is to enlarge the premises to increase the school capacity from 210 places to 420 places on a phased basis from 1 September 2012.

Edward Francis Infant and Junior Schools, Rayleigh
Essex County Council (working in collaboration with the federated governing body of the schools) has published a
statutory notice proposing to discontinue Edward Francis Community Infant School (with effect from 31 August 2012) and to change the lower age limit of Edward Francis Community Junior School from 7-11 to 4-11 years (with effect from 1 September 2012), in order that it become an all-through primary school.
Primary School Places in Colchester
Essex County Council has published a
statutory notice to expand primary provision in Colchester by expanding the premises of four primary schools. The date for representations has expired.
Colchester Secondary Education Transformation
Essex County Council has published a
statutory notice (in the Colchester Gazette) to revoke the set of proposals published on 29 June 2009 in respect of Colchester secondary schools, and to discontinue the Alderman Blaxill School with effect from 31 August 2014.
