Essex County Council is engaged in the process of developing both the Mineral Development Document (MDD) and Waste Development Document (WDD). Once complete, these will become the Mineral and Waste planning policies for Essex County Council. The development process will take several years and, in the interim, there are a number of incoming policy documents which are of use to developers and planning consultants considering making a application to the council.

 

There is a statutory duty on Essex County Council to consult at all stages of the policy development process, and to ensure that the consultation documents and submissions are available to view. For ease of use, we are publishing all required documents relating to different stages of the consultation processes for both the MDD and the WDD.
