Supported lodgings addresses the gap between leaving care and independent living.  It offers temporary accommodation for young people aged between 16 and 18, or up to 24 in special circumstances. They may need help gaining independence and confidence for the future.
 
We need providers in main towns, as travel and educational links are most important to the needs of young people. We also need carers who can appreciate the issues young people face during the transition to independence.
 
Having a job will not bar you from becoming a provider.  Our providers are paid a weekly fee and the young person is provided with a personal allowance.  For further information please contact: Margaret Jones on 01245 434131
