The Essex County Council adoption service finds families for an average of 80 children every year.

We were nationally recognised as one of the best adoption services in the country when the government gave us Beacon Status for adoption. Government inspectors have also praised our well-managed service and high-quality work.

We aim to treat everyone who comes into contact with us fairly, professionally and appropriately and would like to hear your views about any aspect of our service. To get in touch simply contact us

Our policy statement is available if you would like to read it.
