Essex County Council helps people to maintain their independence.  There are a range of innovative ways that we can do this.

The most recent of these is the Right to Control initiative, which Essex County Council is helping to pilot.

You may wish to contact Adult Social Care if you are finding it difficult to manage with everyday life and need regular help or support in your home. You can be assessed to find out whether you are eligible for social care funding to help you remain independent.
