The following public bodies are working together as part of the Right to Control initiative to provide an integrated service to customers.

Essex County Council: Adult Social Care services

Job Centre Plus: providing support to people of working age
from welfare into work – including Access to Work and Work
Choice

ECDP: an organisation run by and for disabled people, and
providing a range of support services

Independent Living Fund (existing users only): providing
disabled people with financial support to support independent
living.

Some District and Borough Councils across Essex: providing
Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) for home adaptations.
Currently those councils able to offer the Right to Control for
a DFG are:

Brentwood  
Uttlesford  
Harlow
