Essex Record Office conference facilities

The Essex Record Office Conference Centre offers a range of rooms to meet all needs. We can host events for up to 140 delegates, and smaller rooms can be provided on request. Contact Essex Record Office for more information. There are disabled car parking facilities at the Essex Record Office building itself, and an extensive public car park adjacent to the building.
 

Room availability

There are seven rooms available for hire, suitable for different sizes. Different charges apply to the different rooms. Contact the Conference team for further information.
 

Catering

Depending on the number of delegates, it is possible to have catering arrangements in the room. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide catering arrangements in the Spalding Room*.
 
The Bamford Area is used for lunches and catering arrangements for around 50 delegates. For larger parties, it is recommended that the Repton/Maynard area is used. Charges for refreshments are outlined below.
