Room hire charges

The following is a list of charges for conference rooms:

Terms & Conditions

  1. All rates are indicative and exclusive of V.A.T.
  2. All rates quoted are based on Monday to Friday unless otherwise stated. Day Rate is an 8 hour session (e.g. 9.00 am - 5.00pm) half day rates are either 9.00am to 12.30pm or 1.30pm to 5.00pm, all evening bookings after 5.00pm will be on an hourly basis.
  3. Written confirmation must be received for all bookings within 7 days of initial booking, failure to so will result in the rooms being made available to other hirers.
  4. Once confirmation of a letting has been received a 'cancellation fee' will be payable, calculated on weekdays only. If more than 14 days notice is given 25% will be charged, if less than 14 days but more than 7 days 50% will be charged and if less than 7 days but more than 2 days 75%  of the fee will be charged. If less than two days notice is given, 100% will be charged.
  5. The above rates are at the discretion of Essex County Council and may be subject to change without notice.
