25 August 2016

ACL Essex is celebrating a great year for its adult learners as 73.4 per cent of ACL GSCE candidates achieved grades A* - C.

Students collected their results this morning in Maths, English and Science with all results including G grades meaning ACL had a pass rate of 98.8 per cent.

Cllr Ray Gooding, Essex County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education and Lifelong Learning said: “What a great day for educational achievement in Essex. Our adult learners are proving that it is never too late to commit to studying and showing us that you are never too old to learn. Congratulations to all our students on their achievements.”

ACL Essex is still enrolling for GCSE courses starting in September at locations all across Essex.  You can enrol by phone on 0345 603 7635 or via www.essex.gov.uk/adult-learning
