Bottoms up’ for nappy winner

21 July 2016

Gergana Ossa from Basildon is the lucky winner of a Little Lambs cloth nappy hamper worth £149. She entered a free prize draw run by Recycle for Essex to highlight the benefits of using cloth nappies.

Competition highlights include entries pointing out that “if Queen Victoria had used disposables, they’d still be there in landfill” and that “Grandma knows how to change them”.

By switching to cloth nappies, parents could cut the number of nappies used from birth to potty training to approximately 20 to 25 nappies. This can lead to savings of up to £1000 per baby including the cost of electricity and water for washing the nappies.

Recycle for Essex would like to help parents make the switch to cloth nappieswith a £30 cash back offer.
