A new countywide campaign will launch at the beginning of April that aims to educate Mums-to-be and their families on the dangers of smoking while pregnant.
The campaign will also direct women to local stop smoking services, and offer them support in quitting.
The campaign will launch on Monday 3 April and will run for one month. It has been developed through working with pregnant women, midwives, local Mums’ groups and healthcare professionals.
It will feature an intensive online campaign, poster and leaflet distribution, training days for midwives and healthcare professionals as well as public information events.
