13 October 2016

Historic homeowners and novices with an interest in the conservation repair of historic properties have a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience on a special one–day course.

Lime Plaster for Beginners will run at Cressing Temple Barns on Friday 11 November and is priced at £118.80 including VAT.

Students will learn how to hand mix small amounts of lime plaster and to repair or replace patches. The course is led by a highly experienced plasterer and a specialist in fine plaster finishes.

The course is part of Place Services’ Traditional Building Skills programme which enables amateurs and professionals to increase their knowledge and skills in the technical and practical issues involved in the conservation management and repair of historic buildings, and the wider historic environment.
