Unlocking the key to small business success

Essex businesses are being invited to the official launch of Innovation 50, a new initiative to support up and coming businesses in the county.

The launch event, on Wednesday, 4 May 2016, 5.30-8.30pm at Anglia Ruskin University is open to SMEs looking to grow, expand and learn from others’ success.

Innovation 50 is a joint initiative between Essex County Council’s Essex Innovation Programme (EIP) and Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) to support business growth in Essex.

Businesses which attend will have the opportunity to network with like-minded businesses, attend a pop-up business clinic and gain expert advice on:

Marketing and PR
Funding and finance
Business strategy
Intellectual property

Businesses will also be able to apply to join the Innovation Project during the event.

Cllr David Finch, Leader of Essex County Council, said: “The Innovation 50 project is a fantastic initiative which will provide support to many small businesses.

This Showcase event will give businesses the information they need to become a part of it. I would encourage all local businesses to come along and see how Essex Means Business.”

Businesses interested in attending the event should register in advance.
