New opportunities at refurbished Harlow Library

The exciting refurbishment of Harlow Library is now open, providing new opportunities for residents.

Following the announcement of the Government’s Getting Building Fund in 2020, £20m was awarded to Essex as a county, with almost £980k awarded to the Harlow Library and ACL project.

Located in the heart of the town centre, the project was put forward to make better use of the library space and provide an offer of lifelong learning and skills for people of all ages and backgrounds.

The refurbishment has included remodelling to provide a learning and skills centre and vibrant new children’s library, complete with sensory equipment.

The library also features an event space for hire and rentable drop-down spaces for small businesses/start-ups.

ACL provide courses for businesses and entrepreneurs; the new Harlow library is an ideal space to support Essex SMEs and help them grow their business.
