What service is being provided?

 

Country Parks

Essex County Council is responsible for eight  country parks, a heritage site, six mills and over 30 woodlands as well as two disused railway lines.  We manage these sites to: 

  • give residents access to open spaces, woodland trails and historic parklands; and
  • protect and encourage rare and important plants and animals.

We provide services such as Sky Ropes, Mobility Scooter loans, educational visits, Forest Schools, Wedding services, fishing licences and help to small local businesses under the legal basis of consent. 

 

We process personal information under contract for events and venue hire.

We market our services online and via email. You can unsubscribe to our marketing at any time by contacting countryparks@essex.gov.uk or using the unsubscribe function.
