What service is being provided?

Assessment and Intervention (A&I) is responsible for undertaking assessments of children where serious safeguarding issues have been raised.  From assessments various pathways of work will be recommended and set into action.  Within the A&I service a short period of intervention or direct work with the children and family may be offered.

Servelec are a Data Processor supporting this purpose through their system Mosaic.

PKS and other commissioned partners are Data Processors supporting this purpose through their support in completing court reports and agency checks.

If you are receiving support from Childrens Social Care then the NHS may share your NHS number with us.  This is so that the NHS and Childrens Social Care are using the same number to identify you whilst providing your care.  By using the same number the NHS and Childrens Social Care can work together more closely to support you and your family.

We will use the NHS Number in an integrated care record system across a number of support services including GP's, hospitals, community matrons, district nurses and social care practitioners.

How long will your data be kept?

We will stop using your data after we are no longer involved in your case.

Your data will be deleted in line with Children Social Care retention after we stop using it:

100 years for Adoption records, 75 years for Children Looked After records and 35 years in all other record types.
