What service is being provided?

Involvement Team

  • Work with children and young people with a focus on their personal, social, emotional and relational development.
  • Work with services to enhance understanding of impact of intervention on children and families, supports improvements in the quality of provision to children in care, children in need, child protection and to offer challenge where appropriate
  • Work alongside social work teams and the police to support children and young people, who have been missing from home and care.

Servelec is a Data Processor supporting this purpose through the Mosaic social care case management system.

Our legal basis for using your personal data for the Missing Work and the Children in Care Council is under legal obligation. 

 

Our legal basis' for using your personal data when we carry out other targeted work and research, impact and evaluation are under a public task in the public interest and consent.

Use of your NHS Number in Childrens Social Care 

If you are receiving support from childrens social care then the NHS may share your NHS number with us.  This is so that the NHS and childrens social care are using the same number to identify you whilst providing your care.  By using the same number we are able to work together to improve your care and support.

 

We will use this Number in an integrated care record system across a number of support services including GPs, hospitals, community matrons, district nurses and social care practitioners.

 

Will your data be stored in or accessible from countries with no UK-equivalent Privacy Law protections?

 

No

 

How long will your data be kept?

 

We will stop using when we are no longer providing this service to you and when any research document has been completed.

Your data will be deleted 35 years after we stop using it.
