The Data Controller is Essex County Council

Epping\Harlow Community Transport is a Data Processor supporting this purpose.

What will it be used for and what gives us the right to ask for it and use it?

Your personal information will be used to transport you according to our statutory obligations with your care.

  • Service Delivery
  • Prevention or Detection of Fraud/Crime
  • Service Planning/Improvement
  • Research using anonymised data only – if we would like to use your identifiable personal data for research purposes we will seek your consent to do so.

If we cannot use your data we would be unable to meet your transport needs.

Our legal basis for using your personal data is statutory obligation.

Who else might we share your data with?

We will share your name and contact details with Epping Community Transport if your transport needs are based in Epping or Harlow.

Will your data be stored in or accessible from countries with no UK-equivalent Privacy Law protections?

How long will your data be kept?

We will stop using your data after 3 Months from your last use of our service
Your data will be deleted immediately after we stop using it.
