The Data Processor(s) supporting this purpose is the IT Software provider who hosts and manages our comments data

 

What will it be used for and what gives us the right to ask for it and use it?

 

To improve service delivery

If we cannot use your data we would not be able to contact you to update you about your comment

Our legal basis for using your personal data is:

  • Consent
  • Archiving purposes in the public interest

 

As we need your consent you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

Comments may be published with your consent to publicise Council services

 

Will your data be stored in or accessible from countries with no UK-equivalent Privacy Law protections?

No

 

How long will your data be kept?

We will stop using your data after we have responded to you about your comment, or if you have not given consent for us to contact you, when the matter is closed

 

After we stop using it, your data will be deleted after the end of the relevant financial year, plus one additional financial year (i.e. minimum of 1 year, maximum of 2)
