What service is being provided?

Delivering a Service to Elected Members to provide support to council committees including Full Council and the formal decision making process. Also providing direct support to councillors through the group offices and to the chairman, vice-chairman and the Lord Lieutenant.

Who will be using your personal data?

The Data Controller is Essex County Council

The Data Protection Officer for Essex County Council can be contacted at dpo@essex.gov.uk.

 

Committee Management Information System (CMIS) is a Data Processor supporting this purpose

 

What will it be used for and what gives us the right to ask for it and use it?

Research (using anonymised data only unless we specifically request your consent to use identifiable personal data)

Information will be maintained indefinitely and become part of the permanent and historical public records of Essex County Council that may be accessed by the public through the Essex Record Office.
