Apprenticeship initiative for Essex schools

We are inviting Essex schools to use our apprenticeship levy pot to help upskill their staff.

Financial support can be used to help cover training costs for school staff wishing to undertake an apprenticeship.

There is no age limit on apprenticeships. They are available across a range of professions, including:

  • business support
  • teaching assistants
  • site maintenance
  • catering

School staff undertaking an apprenticeship will spend 20% of their time on ‘off-the-job training’. Our team can connect schools to experienced and trusted training providers to help support apprentices’ learning.
