The Essex Poetry Festival will visit eleven Essex libraries during its month-long tour of the county.
The festival, which features some of the best of Essex’s contemporary poets, will stop off at libraries across the county for live poetry performances.
If you enjoy reading or listening to poetry, or want to pick up writing tips from renowned poets, drop into one of the many events. There is no need to book and entry is free.
The library events are a great opportunity to meet Essex poets, including Adrian Green, Rosie Sandler, Derek Adams and Maggie Freeman.
As well as experiencing live poetry readings, you will also get a chance to discuss the poetry, gaining a real insight into the creative process, and perhaps be inspired to write your own.
