Equality and diversity for residents
Our services are for everybody. We use public forums and groups to gather feedback from residents. These include planning groups representing people with physical, visual or hearing impairments, as well as older and younger people.
Impact assessments
We use Equality Impact Assessments to ensure that all our policies remain in line with our commitment to equality and diversity.
These measure positive and negative effects of our policies on different groups and communities, and are part of our decision-making process.
