Carers urged to share their experiences to improve support

Carers urged to share their experiences to improve support

Across Essex there are a growing number of people who are taking on caring responsibilities.

The pandemic has had a massive impact on the lives of carers, affecting access to services, their ability to juggle work and care and much more. It’s more important than ever that the voice of carers is heard.

We have launched two carers’ surveys – one for carers aged 18 and over and one for young carers.

They survey will ask about the experiences of carers, how they have coped and continued to provide vital support to loved ones.

The information gathered from the survey will be used to help shape future plans.

We will publish plans to support carers in early 2022.

The surveys are open now and will run until 23 December 2021.
