Every Mind Matters this World Mental Health Day
Everyone is different; we all feel and react to things in different ways, which means that our experience of the world and how we process things will be different.
How we process things that happen at certain points in our lives can have an impact on how we feel and ultimately, our overall mental health.
Therefore, it’s vital that we protect our mental health just as we do our physical health – ensuring we can recognise signs that we might be struggling and how to access the right support when we need it.
In the run up to this year’s World Mental Health Day on 10 October, we’re supporting national efforts by Public Health England (PHE) who have launched a new campaign – Every Mind Matters - to empower people take control of their own mental health.
We want everyone in Essex to prioritise their wellbeing and feel confident when taking action to protect themselves. To discover the simple steps you can take to look after your mental health, take a short quiz which will help shape your personalised mind plan.
You can find this, as well as information about local mental health support and services, on the Livewell campaign website.
