Mark re-joined Essex County Council in 2022 as Executive Director Climate, Environment and Customer having previously held the role here as Director of Waste and Environment.

Mark joined local government after a very successful career in the private sector holding senior positions in the manufacturing, packaging and waste sectors.
Since joining local government Mark has become MBA qualified in Operations and has had senior roles including Managing Director of East London Waste Authority and Executive Director of Growth, Highways & Infrastructure at Suffolk County Council.
