The Essex Local Offer
The Essex Local Offer provides information on the services available to children and young people (aged 0 to 25) with SEND and their families including:
- schools and learning
- employment and training
- local clubs and groups
- health and social care
Children, young people, their parents or carers and practitioners work together to bring everything together in one place. It is updated and developed regularly following user feedback.

SEND information, advice and support
Contact the Essex SEND Information Advice and Support (IAS) Service for free and impartial advice on SEND. They can help you with everything to do with special educational needs and disabilities. Contact them by:
SEND Operations Service
For queries about the statutory assessment process or your child’s education, health and care (EHC) plan, contact the SEND Operations Service.
SEND Tribunal Service
