Government guidance says everyone must wear a face covering on public transport, in shops and a variety of indoor spaces.
Who is exempt?
Some people are exempt from wearing a face covering in public for health or equality reasons. The government guidance says when you do not need to wear a face covering.
Where to get an exemption card
If you are exempt you may feel more comfortable showing an exemption card. Exemption cards are available from the following organisations:

- Royal Institute for the Deaf
- Gov.uk template exemption cards
