We offer business advice on a chargeable basis. This is tailored to your needs and delivered by qualified Trading Standards professionals. A range of cost options are available to suit your business.
We offer advice and guidance on:

- consumer and trader rights
- compliance procedures
- food labelling and label assessments
- product safety
- business terms and conditions
- scams affecting businesses
We also offer staff training, including training on food allergens and age-restricted products.
The support you get depends on the package you choose.
Pay as you go
You can get business advice on a pay as you go basis. This costs £96 plus VAT per hour. We will charge based on 30-minute intervals.
You will:
- receive advice and support from a Trading Standards professional
- be invoiced after receiving each piece of advice
3-hour package
This includes 3 hours advice and support and costs £220 plus VAT.
You can use the 3 hours within the first 12 months of your initial enquiry.
