Disclosure and Barring Service checks
If you have an employee with an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check under 3 years old, we need a signed declaration before they start work on a transport contract.
Novate a contract
See our novation of contracts procedure (PDF, 41KB) if you wish to transfer a contract’s responsibilities and payment rights to another operator.
If you’d like to employ another operator to carry out a contract on your behalf, please email PTContract.Management@essex.gov.uk to discuss this.

Specialist Health Passenger Assistants
If your contract requires a specialist health passenger assistant, please email a completed referral form (PDF, 94KB, 2 pages) to arrange training.
