Activities for people with dementia

Having dementia doesn't mean you have to stop doing the things you like and enjoy. Activities and interests may change over time. There are many groups, clubs and services across Essex that support people with dementia to continue the things you enjoy or to access and take part in social activities.

Essex Libraries offer free dementia friendly services and memory café groups.

Essex Cares Limited (ECL) offers specialist, person-centred support. This includes a range of tailored activities. Their focus is on maintaining independence and encouraging social interaction.
