Updates have been made to some Cabinet portfolios and titles. These are constantly reviewed to ensure the effective delivery of council priorities.
The latest changes include:
- legal services moving to the transformation portfolio from the Chancellor of Essex
- Councillor Lewis Barber becoming Special Lead Member for devolution and local government reorganisation - taking over from Councillor Graham Butland
- Councillor Holly Whitbread moving from the Deputy Cabinet Member for Children's Services, Adult Social Care, Public Health and Integration to become the Deputy Cabinet Member for the Arts, Heritage and Culture
- Councillor Andrew Johnson becoming a Deputy Cabinet Member for Children's Services, Adult Social Care, Public Health and Integration
