Local organisations, individuals and schools can apply for micro-grants of up to £500 to support waste reduction projects.
The Love Essex Fund, which has been running since October 2019, is currently open for applications.
For this particular round of funding, the Love Essex Fund is hoping to support projects that promote reuse and repair.
This could include clothes swap events, children’s toys redistribution and electronics or furniture repair.
Previous recipients of the Love Essex Fund have included refill businesses, skills-sharing workshops and repair cafes.

The application period for the current round of funding will run until just before midnight on Monday 24 October 2022.
Micro-grants from Love Essex were mostly recently awarded in February 2022, when 40 separate projects received funding.
