Government restrictions on the number of people who can attend ceremonies

From 19 July, there are no longer any legal restrictions on the number of people who can attend a wedding or civil partnership. The legal requirement for social distancing also no longer applies.

If you’re already married, but want to reaffirm your commitment to one another you can have a renewal vows ceremony. You can hold this at any suitable venue, subject to a health and safety check.

This is not a legal ceremony, but celebrates your life together.
