Compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015

We expect our suppliers to comply with the regulations in the Modern Slavery Act 2015

Modern slavery encompasses a range of exploitation types which include:

  • sexual exploitation
  • domestic servitude
  • forced labour
  • criminal exploitation
  • other forms (for example, organ removal or forced begging)

Within our business we have rigorous measures in place to mitigate the risks of modern slavery.

A category management approach is used in our supply chain to minimise market risks regarding slavery and human trafficking. There are mandatory questions within the sourcing process, which require a bidder to provide evidence of their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act.

For more information please read our modern day slavery and human trafficking statement which further explains how we deal with modern slavery risks in our supply chains.
