Best practice design solutions for specific user-focused tasks and page types

Headings

Headings can be styled using the toolbar in the WYSIWYG editor.

We have 4 heading styles in LGD:

Heading 1

Heading 2

Heading 3

Heading 4

How to structure headings

Headings should always follow a hierarchical order to enable users to follow and understand the content.

For accessibility, headings should be nested properly, and not skipped.  For example, a h1, should be followed by a h2 and so on.

Writing headings

Use clear, action-focused, front-loaded headings to make your web content easier for all users to navigate.

For more guidance on headings, see Readability guidelines.
