You can apply to go on the waiting list for a plot on any of the 12 sites we manage - see map and list below. To apply, download the waiting list application form (90KB DOC) and complete and return to the address on the form.
Gypsy or Traveller site plots and locations
We manage the following 12 sites.
Braintree, Ridgewell - 12 plots. Braintree, Cressing - 14 plots. Colchester, Severalls Lane - 12 plots. Maldon, Brickhouse Lane - 6 plots. Maldon, Wood Corner - 20 plots. Chelmsford, Cranham Hall - 10 plots. Chelmsford, Ladgrove - 12 plots. Basildon, Hovefield - 25 plots. Epping Forest, Hop Gardens - 16 plots. Harlow, Fern Hill Lane - 23 plots. Harlow, Elizabeth Way - 21 plots. Uttlesford, Felsted - 17 plots.
Term and conditions
If offered a plot, you’ll need to pay:
- a £300 refundable deposit (£500 for Severalls Lane)
- weekly rent of £63 (£79 for Severalls Lane)
- a weekly water/sewage payment of £11 (£7 for Severalls Lane)
Electricity charges (and water charges for Severalls Lane) should be paid to the supplier, and council tax should be paid to the local council.
