All opportunities to provide ECC with goods and services over £100k are advertised on our tendering website, Proactis.
Once your organisation is registered you will be able to view current opportunities and submit bids through Proactis.
Support for using Proactis is available through their help desk.

Potential bidders are advised that notices in relation to applicable procurements will be published on the new Find A Tender platform (FTS) instead of OJEU/TED.

We tender bus services for:

To bid for a passenger transport contract, you will need to register and complete the accreditation and enrolment process using our Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), which you can join via proactis. Your business will need to meet Essex County Council’s criteria for the provision of passenger transport services.
DPS guidance documents have been uploaded onto Proactis and further guidance and assistance is also available on the system.

Property and facilities management
We use Mitie for properties and facilities management. Mitie subcontracts:

- lift maintenance
- flooring

Construction
We work with a number of construction main contractors through the Essex Construction Framework 2 agreement. These main contractors subcontract various aspects of the construction process.

Recruitment
All recruitment of temporary staff is managed by our Resourcing Team at Essex County Council. We call this initiative Working for Essex.
