Solar Together scheme still open

Row of red brick english houses with solar panels on the roof.

You can save money on new solar panels with the Solar Together scheme.

The scheme uses the power of group-buying. This means the more people that register, the cheaper the cost of the solar panels will be for each person. There is a minimum 25% saving on a standard solar panel system per household.

Solar panels can help to save you money on your energy bills in the long-term. They also help to reduce carbon emissions by generating renewable energy.

How it works:

  • Register online for free and without obligation.
  • Approved companies will bid to supply the solar panels at a competitive price.
  • Registered households will then receive a personal recommendation.
  • You can choose to accept or decline the quote.
  • If you accept, the company will be in touch to discuss and confirm your installation date.

Telephone and email helpdesks are on-hand throughout the whole process. Information sessions also allow households to make an informed decision.

We are working with iChoosr to deliver the scheme. The aim is to make solar energy more accessible and affordable. It also supports the UK's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

The Solar Together scheme remains open until 22 March. There is no obligation to accept a quote once you have registered.
